Founder and leader of the band, Yona composes and arranges the majority of Tofa'ah's music. She has been studying and playing the piano from the age of six, and the drums and percussion since she was five years old! After training in music and education she moved to Israel in 1981 from Saratoga Springs, New York, and now lives in Jerusalem with her husband and children.
